Travel Insurance

Schengen travel insurance is a mandatory health coverage required for anyone applying for a Schengen visa, as per European Union regulations. This insurance ensures financial protection for travelers by covering emergency medical expenses, hospitalization, and medical repatriation during their stay in the Schengen Area. To be valid, the policy must provide at least €30,000 in coverage, be valid in all Schengen member states, and span the entire duration of the visit.

Without compliant insurance, visa applications will be denied. While travel health insurance is advisable for all travelers to Europe, it is strictly required only for those who need a Schengen visa, regardless of the purpose of their trip. Please view the link below to explore Schengen-compliant insurance options. https://schengeninsuranceinfo.com/#compare

Venue

The three-day Forum will take place at the Marriott Copenhagen Hotel, Kalvebod Brygge 5.

Visas

All visitors to Denmark must have in their possession a valid passport recognized by Denmark and if required, the appropriate visa. The responsibility for obtaining a visa well in advance rests with delegates.

Information on which country nationals require a visa and the requirements for obtaining a visa how to apply can be found on the website of the Danish Immigration Service (www.nyidanmark.dk/en-GB/You-want-to-apply/Short-stay-visa).

Information on how to apply for a visa can be found on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark (https://um.dk/en/travel-and-residence/how-to-apply-for-a-visa) or in consultation with your local Danish embassy. Information on where to apply for a visa can also be found on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark (https://um.dk/en/travel-and-residence/where-to-apply).

In some countries, Denmark does not have a mission or a Visa Application Centre and is instead represented by another Schengen Member State. If you apply for a visa to Denmark through another Schengen Member State, you cannot use the Danish online application platform, ApplyVisa. In this case, you should follow the procedures set out by the relevant Schengen Member State.
