Maria-Veronica Banks is the Grants Manager for the Bezos Earth Fund.
Prior to joining the Earth Fund, she was the Director of Grants Administration at the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF), overseeing the entirety of the grant-making process. She also worked with BDO FMA as a financial management consultant, delivering strategic and operational insights to nonprofit and philanthropic clients nationwide. Maria-Veronica has worked in international and domestic grants-making, including roles at the Public Welfare Foundation and the International Youth Foundation.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Christopher Newport University and an M.A. in Public Management from Johns Hopkins University. She serves on the DC Steering Committee of PEAK Grantmaking.
